The Random Team [Episode 1] - Meeting The Crew

The Random Team - Episode One

I look at the door. Its a large and wooden, and it has carvings in it making it look fancy. The building itself is nice as well, its a bit square but its wooden and stands proud. I had heard people with... strange ability's lived here. A team of superheros I believe. They accept anyone with super powers, or so I'm told. The building is on a hill at the side of town square. The town itself is small and nice, so I guess the group lives here for the silence of everything.
My name is Danny, Dan for short. I was told this group would accept anyone with special powers, and provide them a home and comfort. I knock on the door three times, and then someone answers.
A girl answers, with pretty short hair and glasses. Shes smiling though, and she seems pretty nice.
"Oh, Hello. What are you here for?"
"My name is Danny, Is this the place with the people with super powers?"
"Oh yeah, you must want to join the group then?"
"Y-yeah."
"My name is Lily, I just need to know you actually have a power before we can let you in."
"I have fire powers." I pull out a piece of paper and take my gloves off. My mother managed to make gloves that don't burn before... the accident. As soon as the paper touches my bare skin, it catches aflame and burns. I put the glove back on.
"Alright, well then come on in." She opens the door more and lets me in, and I look around. The room is pretty big and open. There's a kitchen with a fair sized dinning table, and a living room with two couches and a flat screen TV. It has a few paintings around, but there are a lot of drawings framed and hung up.  At the table sits a girl with short hair as well, and after looking at her I see shes in a wheelchair as well. She has glasses like Lily, but her hair is dark while Lilys is more of a dirty blond color.
The girl in the wheelchair looks up at me and smiles. "Hey a newcomer."
Lily points at the girl slightly. "That's Carey, shes basically the nurse of the team."
Lily goes over to a wooden staircase, and yells up. "Guys we have a new member!"
A girl walks down the staircase first, shes pretty short and has a light brown hair color, and she smiles. "Hey I'm Alexei."
A girl suddenly jumps down the staircase, wrapping her arms around Alexei, although shes a lot taller than her so its awkward. "Alexei is the shorty of the group around here!"
Lily sighs. "That's Alexei and Bell."
Bell is fairly tall, and seems pretty happy. She wears a black jacket and jeans, and a shirt that has a cat in a wizard hat and it says "Meowgic" on it. Shes fairly loud as well. Lily looks around, and then goes into the living room area and picks something off the floor, which I see is a cat.
"This is Miw." Lily puts the cat down, and it suddenly shifts into a girl. Shes short, but a bit taller than Alexei. She has a sort of dark blond hair, and wears glasses lily Lily. She seems pretty annoyed by everyone's presence though.
"And that's everyone in the group except... Bell wheres Anne?"
Bell looks around, and then calls up the staircase. "Anne get down here!"
Suddenly, I see part of a foot flash in and out from the ceiling, and suddenly as if teleported, a girl seems to slip from the ceiling and fall to the ground. Lily facepalms but smiles slightly and Bell laughs. "I said come down here not glitch through the ceiling."
The girl who I assume is Anne stands up. Shes the tallest of the group, and she has a jacket that resembles the pattern of a monster in some game called minecraft. I think the monster is a creeper? Her hair is about down to her shoulders, and a light brown color. She punches Bell, but smiles.
"Hey whose the dude?"
"Everyone this is our newest member, Danny." Lily says.
"Dan for short." I manage to say. I feel kind of nervous around these girls. They all seem like a big family.
"Dan the man!" Anne yells jokingly, she throws her arms in the air happily. "Welcome to The Random Team!"
Lily looks at Anne "We never agreed on that name-"
"THE RANDOM TEEEEAAAAMMMM" Anne yells over Lily.
Lily sighs, but smiles. "Yes I guess we can call ourselves that. Welcome to the random team Danny."
This group seems strange and... kind of weird but, at least they accept me right?
